Michael Henry is the Executive Director of Burwood Group, bringing nearly two decades of experience in driving innovation and operational excellence within global organizations.  A strategic leader with a proven track record of success, Michael specializes in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives to deliver impactful results. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated expertise in strategic technology leadership, digital transformation, product innovation, and global team leadership.  He is passionate about building high-performing organizations and fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and customer focus. 

Prior to joining Burwood Group, Michael held various leadership positions at UL Solutions, where he spearheaded:

• Strategic planning initiatives

• Led large-scale technology implementations

• Managed multi-million-dollar portfolios

His notable achievements include securing significant capital funding for transformative technology projects and leading the development of customer-facing platforms that generated substantial revenue.  Michael's experience spans diverse industries, from healthcare and medical devices to testing, inspection, and certification services. 

Beyond his corporate leadership, Michael actively contributes to the community through his board positions with Thrive Scholars and EDGe Surgical, Inc. He is also a co-founder of Eidosmed LLC, a medical device company focused on bone-fixation surgery. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and has completed the MIT Technical and Operations Leaders Program at the Sloan School of Management.
